Deep Dive, Good Vibes ==> La Gombe

Seven divers, two groups and one great day underwater!

We split into two teams:
🔹 Fabiana, Christophe & Youssef, working on their OWD training.
🔹 Ribes, Joé, Oli & Frank, heading out for some fun diving!

Our planned entry time was 2:15 PM. One group was lucky enough to jump straight into the water, while the other still had to complete the safety procedures on the pontoon. After another 15 minutes of waiting, we finally got everyone underwater!

Our adventure started with a descent towards 31 metres, hoping to explore the two small caves. Unfortunately, visibility dropped to absolutely zero at around 26 metres. Safety always comes first, so Ribes made the right call and decided not to put the group at risk. The caves would have to wait for another day!

Instead, we headed towards the large sailing boat and continued exploring the underwater attractions along the way.

And there was plenty to discover:
🚤 A kayak and a boat
🛢️ A barrel to swim through
🪖 A tank
✈️ A fighter jet, including its ejection seat
🚗 A Bobby Car

We even spent around 10 minutes looking for the old vintage car, which apparently is no longer there.

And of course, we encountered plenty of large fish along the way! 🐟

After an enjoyable 63-minute dive, we finally surfaced, being the last group out of the water, as usual! 😎

All in all, a fantastic dive, great company and seven happy divers. Everyone had a great time, and we're already looking forward to the next adventure!

To finish off the day, we headed to Le Tchesté for some well-deserved delicious burgers. 🍔
